Ya estoy en San Diego, preparando la bolsa para coger esta noche un autobús que después de varias horas y unos cuantos cientos de kilómetros cruzará la frontera entre Estados Unidos y Méjico y me llevará a Ensenada, Guerrero Negro y Scammon's (Ojo de Liebre) Lagoon, el destino final, allí donde espero poder disfrutar de una experiencia espectacular, del gran momento.

I'm already in San Diego ... everything is packed and we are just waiting to take the bus that will take us, after some hours and some kilometers, to Mexico, to Ensenada, Guerrero Negro and Scammon's Lagoon, our final destination, where I hope to be able to enjoy a great experience .. a great moment ... lihe this one ...

No hay mal que por bien no venga .. .. Detrás de una mala experiencia, de una decepción, de un disgusto ... ... hay una ocasión para saber de quien te rodeas, en quien puedes confiar, quien está a tu lado y quien está contra ti.

There is not bad from good doesn't come .. .. after a bad experience, a deception, an upset .. .. there is a situation where you can know who is the people that is close to you, who you can trust, who is with you and who is against you.

Frozen Netherlands

Desde hacia varias semanas las bajas temperaturas hacían presagiar una posibilidad que por ultima vez se repitió hace 11 años. En 1997 se congelaron los muchos canales y lagos que conforman la silueta húmeda de los Países Bajos ... y volvió a ocurrir, este invierno.
Mi experiencia en patinaje sobre hielo se remonta a tres tardes en el Skating de Barcelona (o sea, indoor) .. y a pesar de que eso no es garantía de sobrevivir a la experiencia outdoor (patinar al aire libre), ni corta ni perezosa me compre unos patines de hielo para vivir una autentica experiencia invernal holandesa ... ...
A pesar de que los primeros minutos fueron aterradores, por la ausencia de barra a la que agarrarte los primeros minutos hasta que te acostumbras a la inestabilidad del suelo ... gracias a los brazos de Giacomo (con quien fui a patinar el sábado) y Terhi (con quien fui a patinar el domingo) pude coger confianza y disfrutar de toda una experiencia ... inolvidable!!!






It was in 1997 the last time that the winter was so cold in The Netherlands that the lakes and canals were frozen .. .. This is being a very cold winter, so the canals are frozen again .. .. a big opportunity to enjoy a real winter dutch experience. Despite that all my experience in skating was indoor .. .. I felt ready to try skate outdoor .. enjoying the views .. .. of course with the help of Giacomo and Terhi .. .. It was an awesome experience!!!!!!

Tengo la sensación de que hoy ha sido un día en el que las esperanzas de casi todos los ciudadanos del mundo estaban puestas en este momento. Como puede alguien soportar tanta responsabilidad?

I have the feeling Today has been a day where the hope of all the citizens of this world were waiting for this precise moment. How can somebody stand so much responsibility?

New year, New Resolutions

Un nuevo año comienza y con él nuevos propósitos e ilusiones, nuevos planes y proyectos. Ganas de empezar cosas nuevas, de visitar nuevos rincones. Ganas de seguir disfrutando de los amigos de siempre y de encontrar nuevos con los que descubrir nuevas experiencias. Ganas de mejorar como persona .. ..
Tengo la sensación de que este será un año duro y decisivo en mi carrera profesional, pero a pesar de todo el esfuerzo y todo el trabajo que me queda por delante no quiero renunciar a otras cosas que también son importantes para mi.
Que le pido al nuevo año? Salud para mi familia y amigos y que me de la oportunidad de poder disfrutar de los pequeños milagros que suceden cada día .. ..

A new year has already started and with it new resolutions and illusions, new plans and projects. I want to start doing new things, I want to visit new places. I want to enjoy my old friendships and meet new friends to discover new experiences with. I want to improve as a human being .. ..
I have the feeling this will be a hard and an important year professionally, but despite all the effort and all the work I don't want to resign other things that are important for me as well.
What I wish for the new year? Health to my family and friends and the opportunity to can enjoy the small miracles that happen every day .. ..
